In Indianapolis, PHA provided 10 weeks of free produce boxes to hundreds of families who also received $50 a month to buy produce on Instacart as well as a free Instacart membership, which gives them free delivery. Meet Davonya and Julius, two Good Food for All program recipients. GFA gave them a chance to try out new foods in a way that was convenient for them.

So, why not focus primary efforts to promoting fresh fruits and vegetables that are unprocessed or minimally processed and WITHOUT additives and preservatives?
Yes, the emphasis on packaged foods (that then have to be "verified" as real food) is disconcerting. We'd do better to keep Rockefeller and the big three (State Street, Blackrock, and Vanguard, who own almost all food production, including Monsanto and the GMO crops they gift us with) out of this, and to focus on helping our children (and ALL of us!) to appreciate real, nutritious, organically grown veggies and fruits.
